Hibernating
Posted on May 14, 2004 @ 21:07 in General
I haven't posted much here lately. I've had a lot on my mind and, frankly, I didn't have much energy left to post nor did I feel like I had anything important to say. Words failing, I've been twiddling a bit with setting up a fotolog. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but it's taking shape. Still, I feel like I should get out of this blog-hibernation as there are some things that need saying.

The last time I came out of blog hibernation I found it very strange and intimidating to start writing again. All the silly little things I had written about before the break seemed irrelevant, and the big subjects seemed too difficult to tackle. For me, the answer was to just start writing about *anything*, and not to worry too much about the results. Think of it as warming up your blogging muscles. :-)
I've missed your insights and your links, and I'm looking forward to seeing you back in the driver's seat!

Thanks for the encouragement Martin :)
Yesterday I felt I had to react to the whole MT3 licensing deal, but I'm kinda glad I didn't. The initial shock has worn off and it's easier to take a step back and take in the whole picture.Posted by Frank on May 15, 2004 @ 13:16
So what are your thoughts about MT3 at this point?
I did get an email from SixApart this morning saying (amongst other things), "Based on feedback we've received, we've also made some changes changes to the
licenses that will be posted later tonight."I don't know why I got the email. It looked like it was addressed to people who had been on the MT3 beta programme, but I was never on it....

Since MT-Blacklist inexplicably stopped working I had no other recourse than close comments and trackbacks to stop the spam. I've been meaning to correct this for quite a while, but life got in the way... in a good way I should add.
